qualifications, an Access to Higher Education course is a fantastic solution.
The Access to Higher Education course is a 1–year full–time course specifi cally for motivated individuals aged 19 and over who wish to go on to study a degree, progress in their career, or simply extend their knowledge after being out of formal education for some time.

What will I need
Students will need GCSE English and Maths at grade A*/9 – C/4 to enter the Access to Higher Education Business.

The Business course is very broad and covers a wide range of content. It is ideal for people who want to progress to study business or accounting based degrees. You will study topics which are essential if you wish to progress into a career within
business or accounting. Topics include accounting, human resource management, managing people, ethics in business, business & marketing research techniques, marketing an organisation, and economics. You will also be trained in study and
presentation skills to help you make the most of your time on the course and to become an effective undergraduate at university.

You will be assessed in a variety of ways including formal presentation skills.
