You will be able to meet and study with other people from other countries, share experiences and learn together, over a full academic year. Courses are available at Entry Levels – Level 2, including Pre–Entry, during the day.

What will I need

You will have an interview to check your level and/or show any English language qualifications you already have, before you start.

What is covered

The course covers a wide range of General English topics, from personal and social development, to employment, the environment and culture. Depending on your course, you will also have exam preparation lessons to practise listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

Grammar and vocabulary are developed in all lessons.

As well as improving your English, you will study towards a Maths qualification and will also be able to learn important life skills to prepare you for work or further study and that will help you as you settle in to life in the UK.

What can this course lead to

Each course offers the opportunity to progress to the next level. It may also be possible to progress on to mainstream college courses, once your English is at the right level.

Are there any additional costs

You may need to buy a course book, but the college will give you more information once you apply.
