Who is it for

who work, or want to work as, a Domestic Energy Assessor. Candidates will learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the property sector

What will I need

There are no formal entry requirements for candidates undertaking the qualification. However, centres must ensure that candidates have the potential and opportunity to successfully gain the qualification.

What is covered

Unit 331 – Conduct energy assessments in a safe, effective and professional manner.
Assessment methods – Portfolio This unit will be assessed via observation and the development of a portfolio in a working environment and will be assessed to the assessment criteria set out
in the unit.

Unit 332 – Prepare for energy assessments of domestic property.
Assessment method – Assignment 6361–332 The assessment covers the practical activities for all outcomes and will also sample underpinning knowledge to verify coverage of the unit. City & Guilds devised assignment, internally marked, externally verified.

Unit 333 – Undertake energy inspections.
Assessment method – Assignment 6361–333 The assessment covers the practical activities for all outcomes and will also sample underpinning knowledge to verify coverage of the unit. City & Guilds devised assignment, internally marked, externally verified.

Unit 334 – Produce and explain Energy Performance Certificates relating to domestic property
Assessment method – Assignment 6361–334 The assessment covers the practical activities for all outcomes and will also sample underpinning knowledge to verify coverage of the unit. City & Guilds devised assignment, internally marked, externally verified.
