Who is it for

millions of people worldwide. However, inappropriate use or handling of these
substances can have severe consequences, including death. Having good up–to–date
knowledge of the safe handling of medicines is essential for anyone working with
medication.
This knowledge only qualification is designed for people wishing to develop
their understanding of the safe handling of medication.
What will I need
You must be 19 or over to be able to apply for this course.
What is covered
You will study the following:
– Understand medication and prescriptions
– Supply, storage and disposal of medication
– Understand the requirements for the safe administration of medication
– Record–keeping and audit processes for medication
Interview Skills Assessment
You will be assessed via a portfolio of evidence.
