Hospitality and Catering
Hospitality and catering is a truly international industry providing countless employment opportunities at home and abroad. If you are in your element delivering a professional service or if you thrive in a busy kitchen being taught by trained chefs in the college’s fantastic kitchens, then Peterborough College is an excellent starting point for your career.
By studying a hospitality and catering course with us, you will gain experience of working with real customers in a real restaurant environment, in our award winning Parcs Restaurant. This will enable you to gain the business skills necessary to progress into this industry. Our students learn these skills to go on to work in top hotels, restaurants, cruise liners, tourist attractions and events around the world.
Students will also get the opportunity to be involved in many other events throughout the course including the University Centre Peterborough Graduation Ceremony, Peterborough College’s annual Excellence in Skills Awards Ceremony, themed nights in Parcs Restaurant and working at community events.
Take a Tour
Take a virtual stroll down the corridors of our Hospitality and Catering area. We have five industry standard kitchens you can view, including a pastry kitchen and a meat and fish kitchen where students learn skills such as filleting and butchering.
You can also view our award winning Parcs Restaurant which is open to the public. The restaurant provides students with valuable work experience, enabling them to develop their cooking and restaurant service skills.
