74 Stories from Peterborough College GCSE English Students Feature in Young Writers’ Collection of Integer

We are proud to announce that 74 pieces of work from our GCSE English students have been published in the latest Young Writers’ collection of flash fiction: Integer. This is almost double the next highest from any other school or college in the country!

We are proud of our GCSE English students’ accomplishments and we hope that this achievement will inspire them to continue pursuing their dreams. The students’ success is a reflection of the dedication and hard work of their teachers, who have been instrumental in developing their writing skills.

This recognition is a testament to the quality of education and teaching at Peterborough College, as well as the students’ hard work and dedication.

Alexander Hellens, Assistant Group Head of Faculty for GCSE English, was immensely proud of the students. “Since 2019, Peterborough College students have been working with the Young Writers’ group to get talented, local writers published in a collection of short stories. This year, 74 of our incredible GCSE English students were published in the recent volume, ‘Integer’, which is an outstanding achievement. This is the confidence boost that is required with just over a month to go ahead of the summer exams and we are immensely proud of their hard work!”
