Peterborough College Hosts Second Annual ‘Moving On’ Support Event for Inclusive Learning Students.

Following the success of last year’s event, the ‘Moving On’ Support Event was designed to connect our SEND students and their families with vital local services.

This year’s gathering was even more impactful, with over 20 services in attendance, offering guidance and support for young people as they transition into adulthood. The event welcomed students from Inclusive Learning at Peterborough College, Additional Learning Support, Skills for Work and Living and Pathways from Stamford College, providing them and their families the opportunity to meet key organisations that can assist in their next step. 

Natalie Chudobskyi-Walker, Transitions In & Out Officer, who organised the event, said, “As part of my role, I regularly inform parents, carers and young people about the opportunities and services available to them. However, being able to meet these organisations face-to-face and have in-depth conversations is invaluable.”
