UPDATE – 18th August 2020

Receiving results is an important milestone in a student’s life. Results day itself is a culmination of years of hard work for students and we would like to congratulate everyone receiving their results on Thursday.

Whether your results are better than expected or not as good as you had hoped, we are here to help you.

The college will not be open for you to attend in person but that doesn’t mean that you can’t contact us.  A member of staff from each subject area will be available for you to talk to via a telephone, just call 0345 872 8722.

If you have a query about your application you can contact our Admissions Team by calling 0345 872 8722 or email

If you have not applied to study with us in September and would like some advice and guidance you can contact the Information, Advice and Guidance Team via online chat on the website or email or by just calling them 0345 872 8722.

Just remember, it is not too late to apply.  We have a place for you.

UPDATE – 17th August 2020

GCSE results – we will be using your predicted grades!

In response to the difficult and challenging time we have seen with the release of A Level results, we want to reassure those students who have been offered a place to study with us in September that we will be using your predicted grades to ensure that you enrol on the right course for you – so try not to worry on results day, we have a place for you.

We have decided to accept teachers predicted grades because:

  • Teachers know their students well and are able to assess grades with a high degree of accuracy
  • The grades submitted to the exam boards were agreed by schools following an internal quality assurance process and are not the sole responsibility of an individual teacher
  • This is the fairest possible approach available under these unprecedented circumstances
  • This will allow applicants to progress to the next stage of their education in the normal way

We have a very effective ‘Steps to Success’ programme which allows us to be flexible in the first six weeks of term.  For example, if we think a student is finding their course too easy or too hard, we can move them appropriately, we can also allow students to change their course if they change their mind permitting space is available.

Awarding Body Update – 12th August 2020

We ask students to not come to college as they will not be able to receive their results on campus.
