Taster Day 2022
Important Information
Arrival and Exit
Arriving by College Bus:
No need to show the bus driver anything. We have told them to expect you.
Bus stops and route numbers for College Buses can be found here.
On arrival, you will be greeted by staff from the bus and shown where to go next. At the end of the day staff will be available to ensure you get on the correct bus home.
Arriving by Local Authority Bus / Car / Walking / Cycling:
Please make your way to the College and report to main reception. Bicycle sheds are available for you to secure your bike with your own lock should you be cycling to College.
Please ask anyone collecting you at the end of the day to park in the visitor’s car park and we will help you locate them.
Transport for Media, Journalism and Photography (Peterborough Only):
If you are studying Media, Journalism and Photography at Peterborough please come to main campus and we will arrange for you to be transported to our Media and Journalism Centre and back again at the end of the day.
Breaks, Food and Water
You will have three breaks:
- Morning Break
- Lunch Break – FREE hot / cold / vegan and veggie alternatives all available.
- Afternoon Break
Please bring a reusable bottle for water. We have multiple refreshment points across the campus.
Lunch will be provided free but if you would like to purchase any additional snacks or drinks during your break times a small selection will be available.
Supporting you at College
Student Mentors have been provided with your timetables so they can pop in and introduce themselves to you. They will cover important information about how you are supported to succeed at College and who to talk to if you have anxieties or concerns.

FAQ’s
What time does it start?
Unless stated otherwise on your timetable, the taster day will run from 9:00AM until 16:30PM.
Will lunch be provided?
Yes, all students on their taster day will receive a free lunch.
What if I don’t like my course?
We have an expert team of advisors available on the day that are there to help you pick the right course for you. Simply let your tutor know if you would like a chat about your course options.
